Oh, I am so glad it won't be an IHOP...thank you for posting this.

I have a feeling this might be my favorite new hang out...especially with some good live, local bands!

Yes Colonial Bakery is near to me and I also Loved their stuff.. Quite a shame about it all ending like that. Thats not good to be closed such bakeries which are providing us good stuff. But hope for best in future.

    Hi Amber,
    Long time, no see.
Yes, it was called Colonial Oven. The owner was Laura St Onge, a townie and a lovely person. Her parents used to work the shop with her. Laura's quality of baked goods was superb. She had the best oatmeal raisin cookies and cup cakes. Her pies @ the holidays were equally good. The past several years, I have had to drive down to Lexington and wait in line @ the Royal Pastry Shop. Their rasberry bow cookies are our out of this world. My husband can eat a whole pound and drink a gallon of milk in no time flat. We really do need a bakery back in town. I love the Basket, but their baked goods just don't cut it.

But, because I love to eat baked goods, I really need to exercise.....Please don't fence me out of the East Boston Camps/Westford Woods. To the Westford Conservation Commission please don't restrict us peons, us taxpayers, us owners of the land from walking through the property when considering the RFP's
