Size of attached pdf. doc, xls or image files in a post?

What is the biggest pdf. doc, xls or image file that can be attached to a post?

There is no admin set size limit that I am aware of. But I would not be surprised if there is some practical limit based on software limitations. Let me know if you are getting an error message, and how large your file is.

There is a default limit of 5 attachments per post, regardless of size.

Also, there is a 64KB limit on profile pictures, since if those are too large they will slow down the page load for everyone.
