The State Senate will scuttle it so no union folks are concerned... thus no need for protests.

Interesting that this passed without having the State House being occupied by protesters, as happened in Wisconsin. I assume the secret is to pass such legislation during school vacation week.

The State Senate approved an insurance bill which gives back 10% of the savings to the employees for the first year.
The Board of Selectmen will be authorized to change the health plan but premium contribution splits are still subject to negotiation.
There are some differences from House version but no show stoppers.
Then the next hurdle- Deval
