What I fail to understand is the $25K limit that you keep referring to. I know that Dr. John Crisafulli (Supt. 1985 to ~2002) was appointed Supt. in 1985 without posting the position. Although his classroom experience was as a permanent substitue, Mr. Olsen, the current Supt. was appointed Supt in 2005 without the position being advertized.
There is no direct requirement for the posting of town government jobs to the general populace.

So unless, the School Committee works under a difference set of laws, Mr. Fletcher is a contractor not an employee of the town of Westford.

If Mr. Fletcher is a contractor, then you should write a letter to the Conservation Commission, with an info copy to the Town Manager who is the acquisition director for Westford, listing your concerns and proof of failure of contractor failing to provide the contracted services.

Another observation. Although it is commendable that you cut down the trees, the EBC is under a conservation restriction and you could be answerable to the Conservation Commission and the holder of the Conservation Restriction.

I estimate thatover the next 20 years, EBC will cost Westford in excess of $25 million while generating princely annual rental income of less than $20,000 while restricting the use of the property during the prime summer months.

    Who is to blame?

The people who complain but are unwilling to standup and be counted.

    Method 1
The Conservation Commission is appointed by the Board of Selectmen.
If the CC is not responsive ask the BoS to fire the CC.
If the BoS does not fire the CC.
The Board of Selectmen can be recalled.
The new BoS will fire the CC and appoint individuals who will be responsive to the people.

    Method 2
The Conservation Commission budget can be zeroed out at the Annual town meeting and a restriction placed on the FinCom to prevent funding from the FinCom reserve.
The CC is unable to function for lack of funding.

I believe that Tony's Bxxx, Bxxx, Bxxx applies to more than the bitch bitch crowd.

IMHO Tony's public statements at town meetings and meetings of Westford officials leaves no room to doubt to his integrity and willingness to stand up and be counted.

I recall that he has offered to financially support to the limit of the law any credible candidate for election with a set of cojones.

I believe that by your action at town meetings, you have in the last two years sucked up to the elites.

Pretty sure I've been at a few meetings where he was not in attendance.

Funny, I don't recall getting a check from Tony when *I* ran for SC in 2006 against the status quo clique.

I believe your statements about me sucking up to the elites are completely full of shit. But feel free to back that up with some actual facts, dates, and votes.

I believe you showed up withe Dennis G some 10 days before the election. Dennis was carrying your sign and two other signs. No introduction, etc. Just, she is a wonderful candidate, etc... can I put up these signs. For your info, I support candidates who are qualified, do their homework, have cojones and have at least 3 or 4 people working on their campaigns.
If you check the federal campaign reports, I contributed more to John McCain than the WRTC and all of the members of the WRTC combined.

I do not know anything about MLuther's fecal quality but IMHO, he has you pegged correctly.

I remember a warrant article scaling back the jurisdiction of the Conservation Commission to the baseline established in the MGLs. Your forum postings and screams at TM to dismiss the article without discussion could be heard in East Boston.
I have been informed by several of the elites, that you sitting on the By-Law Review committee, with Java the Hutt's sister, you do your best to suck to the elites.

Oh, I'm sorry, you didn't make it clear that you had a laundry list of criteria to accompany your "anti-establishment" candidate donations. Duly noted.

I don't recall the CC article you're referring to, but just because someone disagrees with you on an issue or two doesn't make them a suck-up. Opposing TPTB on every single issue just because it is *their* issue is just as blindly sheeple-ish as supporting their every issue. I never vote party lines. Pretty sure thinking people call that being independent, not sucking up. Unless of course you're a sheeple for the opposing side.

Once again, your hyperbole exceeds actual facts. I haven't been to a BRC meeting in well over a year, almost two (hell, maybe even longer) and actually resigned my position because between home and school I no longer have the time. As for your name-calling, it is my understanding that "Java the Hutt's sister" is not re-upping her term on the BRC either.

Just because I don't call Leslie Thomas a bitch at a Town Meeting doesn't mean I care to suck up to them, either. But I can see how it may be difficult for some to make the distinction.
