I didn't mean to upset the admin. I thought others would be interested in what the answer would be to my 2nd question, and I was hoping for a simple answer. You are the owner of this forum and you have every right to control the conversation.

A few weeks ago only a handful of people knew the details on why the post was removed. This week a few more people know those details, and not by way of this forum. In the not too distant future, so many people will know enough of the details that the current and any future discussion by the admin on this topic will be irrelevant. I guess that is my best armament at this time.

Why is this a big deal, anyway? TonyM called her menopausal, or some such drivel. Maybe she's job hunting and doesn't want negative information about her search-able in Google by her prospective employers. In that case, I would think Tony and his alter-egos Brandi and Mluther would be thrilled to see her go.

Or maybe it was nixed because I said TonyM can be a real asshole sometimes. That's clearly a violation of forum rules, and was definitely a personal attack.

I cannot speak for individuals(Brandi-Mluther) that I do not know but I think that the current Town Manager is doing an excellent job and hope that she will stay in Westford as a Town Manager for at least 20 years.

BTW Are you aware of the skillful job she has done in negotiating the municipal employee contracts.

Moi? I'm a veritable ray of sunshine, sweetness, and light.

My vitriol may well complement yours, but it was certainly not complimentary in that instance.

As for JR, I supported her after the Town Mgr interviews, which I attended. I thought her best able to do the job then, and still believe that. It doesn't mean I'm a suck-up or find her infallible, mind you. Just that she interviewed quite well and seems to have done a reasonable job herding cats and getting her job done.

Why wasn't Tony1941 just given the opportunity to clean-up the offensive language? If that didn't happen, it seems the admin could have redacted the offensive language instead of pulling the entire thread.
