Our friends from Boston visited us for the day. We decided to try this new restaurant. Everything from the mommennt we walked in until we left was great. Its a hidden jewel. We will be going back on a reg basis.
My husband and I went here for breakfast on New Year's Day. The coffee is very good. Our breakfast came out at the same time, other places send it out separately. My over-medium eggs were actually cooked correctly, this is one of the few places that can cook eggs. My husband had the bixbite omelet, which was delicious and very filling. The decor is refreshing and bright, very clean and the tables are not on top of each other. We took a lunch and dinner menu with us and they have everything from homemade soup to every entree you can think of. We will be returning on a regular basis, you gotta try it !

I'd love to check it out, but something tells me this kitchen is not a good place to avoid homestyle gluten cross-contamination.![]()
Thank God for Chipotle.
Went there Wednesday evening. Was pleased with all aspects, good food, great service, we'll be back.
We ate at Bix tonight. It was our first time. The food, prices and services were great. I recommend it highly!
We finally were able to make it back for an early dinner. Our waitress Michelle was a pleasure, she was attentive but not overbearing. Our dinner was as good, if not better than when we had breakfast. I also noticed that they added some new items on the walls, beautiful tapestries that looked like New England scenery. This added a warm feel to the entire experience. If you have not been here yet, you are missing out.
Had a chance to eat at BixBite. Honestly, the food was just adequate and a rather over priced. I had the Malibu chicken which was a bit dry and overcooked while the fresh vegetables portion was very small. The kid's meals took forever to reach the table and did not include drinks. The wait staff was attentive and knowledgeable and the chef was very willing to tweak the menu for those with food allergies. Overall, I'd rate Bixbite a 6 out of 10.
At $2.25 per meal for soda plus the $5 chicken & fries at BixBite, you're better off feeding the kids at Silver Palate (one SP chicken dinner feeds all three of mine). $12 for an onion-soup crock of shepherd's pie (heavy-handed with the pepper shaker, lots of meat, very little corn, small layer of potatoes on top) PLUS $2.25 for a 16 ounce bottle of soda made it too expensive to take a family often. I know rent there is probably crazy, but those prices were definitely on the "Westford" side for what was served.
I should have listened to the kids and stuck with the 99, but I really wanted to try BB out. $7 each for three kids' meals which were just a step above fast food fare was really out of hand. I'd have been happier if fountain drinks were included in their meals (how many 5 year olds do you know finish a 16 oz bottle of soda at a meal?). I was bummed, because I really wanted it to be good and was excited to hear about the chef/owner planning a gluten free menu. (Mixed reviews on Yelp.)
India Palace, Chipotle, and Pho 88 remain at the top of my list of go-to places on the rare occasions we go out. Getting floors refinished made for a lot of restaurant fare this week. I'll be glad to get back into my kitchen and cook! Mommy makes it better at home and nothing beats a cut of meat or fresh sausage from Blood Farm.
The staff of the Westford Gazette ate recently at BixBite and enjoyed the experience. Had dinner. The onion soup was good. The potato skin appetizer was especially good and highly recommended.
The spagheti and meatballs was very, very good. The meatballs are homemade and taste great. The pasta is fresh made it seems too and also very good.
Only bad part of the place is that the food prices are just a bit too high and the booze prices are definitely too high. But it is still cheaper then other places like Belles Bistro.
Overall a great place.
Hit BB for breakfast when Pauls was jammed. No complaints and a great waitress. Price was comparable with just about anywhere. The dinner menu looked generic and uninspired but I'll try them some evening soon.
